Based on the functionalities and use cases that this extension is helping you with, we kept the user interface as simple as possible. In the current version of the widget you can find:
- Widget information section - section with version, short description and other informationss about the extension
- Radio buttons section - in this section the user can choose the level of creation/updation of URI address
- Main button – button that starts the widget after it is clicked

Traditionally, generating URIs for different data elements in DNG could be a time-consuming and error-prone task. This extension eliminates these challenges by allowing users to generate URIs effortlessly with just a single click. It operates both at the level of the current stream and across all streams within a component, providing comprehensive coverage for URI generation.
The URI Generator widget has the following features:
- Update URIs in the Current Stream: Users can effortlessly create or update URIs for artifact types and attributes within the current stream where they are currently working. Once the URIs are generated, the page is automatically refreshed, ensuring that all relevant URIs are up-to-date in that stream.
- Update URIs in All Streams: This widget provides the flexibility to create or update URIs not only in the current stream but across all streams within the current component. With a single click, users can ensure that URI consistency is maintained throughout the entire component, reducing the risk of data discrepancies.
- Update Empty URIs in All Streams: For cases where only missing URIs need attention, users can opt to create or update only those empty URIs in all streams within the current component. This feature optimizes the URI management process by focusing on areas where updates are necessary, further enhancing data integrity.
